Updates SAP as needed.Determines disposition of film identified on monthly old and obsolete stock inventory reports; manage raw material inventory levels first in, first out (FIFO).Prepares monthly charts on aged inventories and distributes to appropriate personnel.Coordinates the transfer of required raw materials among the plant operations where required.Assists in resolution of materials inventory location problems.Assists with Cycle Counting and Inventory ManagementEnters orders, data, in SAP as needed to support customer orders and production schedules.Oversees material management for the facility to include new production to meet production schedules and confirms order acknowledgement.Manages material requisitions for each order and manages oversize stock usage and allocations. (Films and WIP materials)Manages raw material claim management, data entry, communication and closure.Provides updates to departmental key performance indicators (KPI’s) on a regular basis.Acts as a back-up to other Scheduling/ Planning positions as neededAct as a back up to SMS and SAPDevelop standard work and training planMonitor work and provide feedbackDevelop consumable supply strategyMaintain tools for understanding demandManage min/max and reorder points based on usageManage and maintain film supplyMonitor usage and suggest/implement safety stocksDevelop standard workOwn aged inventory reduction for relevant materialsInvestigate aged inventory and identify opportunities for usageWhat We ValueMust have effective communications skills, both oral and written, to successfully interact with Customer Service, Manufacturing, Interplant customers, other Planners and all co-workers.Establish and maintain cooperative working relationshipsAttention to detail and strong analytical skills are essentialStrong organizational skills to handle large volume of paper flow and determine appropriate priorities.Strong math and typing skillsPC skills including Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and the ability to learn new software programsAbility to identify and propose possible solutions to production Ability to work independently and be self-motivatedWhat We Want From YouBachelor’s degree in Business, Ops Management or a related field, or an equivalent combination of formal education and work experience.5 years of scheduling experience in a manufacturing environment to include inventory management experienceBasic level of business acumen including the drivers of operating profit and working capital as it relates to materials planning.Excellent oral and written communication skills.Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel) and mainframe operations as it relates to procurementSAP/Ariba Experience PreferredRegular attendance.Ability to sit up 90% of time.Ability to communicate up to 100% of time.Ability to move from one place to another up to 60% of time.Ability to work on a computer 100% of time.Ability to travel domestically/internationally/globally 0% of time.Office EnvironmentOur ExpectationsWe expect our people to be guided by The Amcor Way and demonstrate our Values every day to enable the business to win.
