Job Title: RN - Telemetry Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Telemetry Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 1 Year License: RN License Required Certifications: Basic Life Support Must-Have: Candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role. Basic Life Support Description: This is a contract position for a Registered Nurse specializing in Telemetry. The role requires providing care in a unit dedicated to medical surgical and surgical oncology patients. The unit has 34 beds and offers modified total patient care. All patients are monitored 24/7 with cardiac telemetry. An ability to perform chemotherapy is essential, and certification is required for this task. The patient population spans young adults through geriatric age categories. Staff typically consists of both day and night shift nurses, along with charge nurses and patient care technicians. The ideal candidate will have a strong team-oriented attitude. Unit culture values outgoing personalities and collaboration. The facility uses Welch Allyn Vital Signs and GE Telemetry Monitoring equipment. Candidates with Med/Surg experience are preferred.
