Make a difference in the lives of students by providing essential speech-language services in a contract position at a supportive school environment near Shelbyville, IN. This onsite role runs from August 3, 2026, through June 1, 2027, working 37.5 hours per week alongside another skilled SLP. The primary focus will be on conducting evaluations with a dynamic caseload of approximately 50–70 students. Your expertise will be key in shaping academic and communication success, particularly for nonverbal life skills students.

Qualifications:

• Current licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
• Previous experience in school-based settings strongly preferred
• Proven ability to conduct thorough speech-language evaluations
• Skilled in collaborating within a multidisciplinary team
• Organizational excellence and strong communication skills

Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive speech-language evaluations for eligible students
• Partner closely with an SLP colleague to support nonverbal and life skills student populations
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in compliance with school and state requirements
• Actively participate in meetings and contribute to collaborative planning for student services
• Work exclusively onsite, building relationships with students and staff
