RN - Outpatient Infusion & PICC Specialist

Join a dedicated healthcare team in the Pacific Northwest region, providing compassionate and skilled nursing care to a diverse outpatient population. This role focuses on infusion therapy, including proficiency in IV therapy, venipuncture, and central venous access devices such as PICC and Midline placements. The position offers a 10-hour shift schedule with variable days and rotating weekend coverage.

Job Summary

As a professional registered nurse, you will assess, implement, and evaluate nursing care using critical thinking and sound judgment. You will collaborate closely with physicians and healthcare team members to ensure continuity and excellence of care, accurately documenting treatments and patient responses. This role requires adherence to nursing standards and legal regulations, fostering teamwork, and supporting ongoing professional development.

Education

• Graduation from an accredited nursing school is required.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing is preferred.

Experience and Licenses

• Current and unrestricted nursing license in Washington State.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.

Skills and Abilities

• Strong knowledge of nursing procedures and outpatient care principles.
• Ability to apply age-specific growth and development principles to patient care.
• Respect for patient privacy and confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proficiency with electronic medical records and Microsoft Office applications.

Physical Requirements

Ability to lift and carry up to 35 lbs occasionally, with frequent standing, walking, bending, and reaching. Normal vision, hearing, and speech capabilities are required.
