Job Description & Requirements Prime Staffing is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a travel job in Alameda, California. Overview Start Date: 06/01/2026 Duration: 13 weeks Employment Type: Travel Shift: Day 5x8-Hour (08:30 - 17:00) Hours per Week: 40 Shift Length: 8 hours Responsibilities Provide outpatient physical therapy one on one treatment and point of service documentation for 8-9 patients per day. Work in an outpatient clinic setting; may float to inpatient or other facilities (e.g., Highland) as discussed during the interview. Manage patient assessment, plan of care, and discharge planning as per standard protocols. Maintain accurate charting and documentation using the assigned charting system. Qualifications 1-2 years of experience (preference for 2 years). Experience in ortho/top or neuro acceptable, with preference for ortho > neuro. National Board of Licensure (BLS) certification and state license required. Valid California license required at the time of submission. First‑time traveler acceptable; first‑time traveler cannot be a new graduate. Readiness to perform required labs within 48-72 hours from contract signing. Ability to complete modules (average 7.25 hours) during orientation; modules tracked through e‑learning. Distance from home Scheduling & Work Hours Shift hours: 08:30 – 17:00 (8 hour shift), 5 days a week. No weekend work at Alameda. Occasional Saturday shifts possible if floating to Highland. Float required across outpatient, inpatient, and other Fairmont/Highland units as needed. Travel & Compliance RTO will be discussed prior to signing the contract; no additional requests accepted after the contract is signed. No overtime approved unless a written exception is provided. No OT unless written exception. Additional Information Guaranteed hours: 91 Contract Weeks (per current posting).
