Customer Service Representative

Kforce has a client that is seeking a Customer Service Representative in Newark, DE. This is a fully onsite position, Monday through Friday, with typical hours of 8:00 AM to 5:00/5:30 PM. Overtime may be required as business needs arise. Summary: The Customer Service Representative supports retirees by assisting with questions and requests related to their pension payments. We are seeking an enthusiastic, customer-focused professional who is committed to providing a high level of service and can thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. Key Responsibilities:

• Receive and manage a high volume of inbound calls from retirees and pension participants
• Listen carefully to callers, understand their requests, and provide accurate and timely assistance
• Answer questions regarding pension payments, tax forms, tax withholdings, and related account information
• Assist participants with navigating and using the retiree web portal
• Process requests for tax form reprints and other participant documents
• Send forms and documentation to participants via mail, fax, and email
• Resolve issues when possible and appropriately route requests based on client and participant guidelines
• Maintain a professional, courteous, and service-oriented approach during every customer interaction
• Manage multiple tasks while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
• Adapt to changing priorities and contribute to both individual and team goals
• College degree required
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong telephone etiquette
• Demonstrated commitment to customer service

• Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
• Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage time effectively
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, internet applications, and email

• Comfortable working in a high-volume environment and managing multiple responsibilities
