Job Title: Enterprise Architect Job ID: 2604913 Position Type: Full Time Employment Location: Jacksonville, Florida USA (Onsite/Hybrid Location) Qualifications & Experience: 20+ years Overall Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Enterprise Architect / Sr. Modern Solution Architect to lead the design and implementation of cutting-edge cloud solutions utilizing Java microservices architecture . The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with one or more major cloud providers and an understanding of cloud-native principles. Responsibilities: Design and architect scalable, resilient, and high-performance solutions using microservices Good knowledge on Event driven Architecture and Database Lead the development of cloud migration strategies and modernization roadmaps Evaluate and recommend emerging technologies to enhance our cloud infrastructure Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align technical solutions with business objectives Mentor junior architects and engineers on cloud best practices Conduct architecture reviews and provide technical leadership throughout the development lifecycle Required Skills and Qualifications: 15+ years of experience in modern application architecture, with at least 5 years focused on cloud solutions Expert-level knowledge of at least one major cloud provider (AWS) Extensive experience designing and implementing Java microservices-based architectures Design, deploy, and manage Kafka clusters in on-premises and/or cloud environments. Strong knowledge of database technologies, both relational and NoSQL Strong understanding of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, etc.) Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices Familiarity with serverless computing and event-driven architectures Knowledge of API design and management Understanding of cloud security best practices and compliance requirements Experience with distributed systems and their associated challenges Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to architect solutions for complex business requirements Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders Relevant certifications (AWS Solutions Architect) are a plus Familiarity with observability and monitoring tools for microservices environments Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies Desired Qualifications: AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate or Professional certification Education Certification: Bachelor’s Degree Skills: Core Java AWS Docker Kafka Pay and Benefits: Pay Range Minimum: $93,000 Pay Range Maximum: $191,400 HCLTech is an equal opportunity employer, committed to providing equal employment opportunities to all applicants and employees regardless of race, religion, sex, color, age, national origin, pregnancy, sexual orientation, physical disability or genetic information, military or veteran status, or any other protected classification, in accordance with federal, state, and/or local law.
