Our San Antonio pediatric hospitalist group is searching for a dedicated pediatric hospitalist to join our busy practice providing coverage at Methodist Children s Hospital.

  \n Average of 10-15 pediatric patients daily on hospital medicine shifts\n

\n
• \n

  \n Work alongside experienced nurse practitioners for newborn nursery coverage, delivery attendance not required\n

\n
• \n

  \n Mixture of day and night shifts\n

\n
• \n

  \n Night coverage is in-house from 6PM to midnight, with home call from midnight to 6 AM\n

\n
• \n

  \n Typically work shift blocks of 3-5 days, though this can be flexible if longer stretches are preferred\n

\n
• \n

  \n Care for patients admitted to the medical/surgical floors and intermediate care unit\n

\n
• \n

  \n Hospital has PICU and NICU on site\n
