Chicago, IL TactStaff EDU is connecting with passionate Speech-Language Pathologists interested in opportunities for the 2026-2027 school year in Chicago, Illinois and surrounding communities. Qualifications
- Must hold or be eligible for Illinois SLP licensure
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Valid Illinois license through the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR)
- Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with SLP endorsement (required for school settings)
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred (CFs may be considered depending on placement)
- Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary school team
- Experience providing speech and language services in a school setting
- Strong knowledge of IDEA and Illinois special education compliance standards
- Experience conducting evaluations, assessments, and developing treatment plans
- Ability to develop and support IEPs and student communication goals
- Experience collaborating with teachers, special education staff, therapists, and families
