SQL DATA ENGINEER (GCP/Looker/Big Query)

Job Title

6+ month engagement.

Required Skills

4- 6 years of SQL Development experience

- 2+ years of Azure OR GCP (team uses both)

- 2 + years of Looker Ex.

- Strong Query ex.

- Must be fine pulling Data and writing queries daily

*Coding background would be HUGE. Stored procedures are the dev background.

*C# and javascript.

-Communcation is Key for this role.

-Ideal candidate would think outside the box and be able to propose ideas.

Preferred Skills

* Strong T-SQL including Unit testing experience

* Coding Ex: C# and Javascript

* Adobe Analytics Ex.

Responsibilities

Azure Data development for Data Hub and Data warehouse environments. The tasks performed include working on new development, bugs, enhancements, troubleshooting activities, configuring environments, suggesting process improvements, and completing documentation.

Provide development using Azure Synapse, Data Factory, AzureSQL tables and SQL Server and associated skillsets. Will also likely use Source Control tools, C#, Alteryx/Tableau experience on an as needed basis.

Daily writing of SQL Queries, pulling data.

Unit test functionality developed, check against business requirements and adhere to guidelines and best practices.
