Parts Associate

We’re looking for a motivated, customer-focused Parts Manager to lead our parts department and deliver outstanding service to our customers. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys working with customers, and takes pride in organization, accuracy, and leadership. Position Summary As the Parts Associate, you will be the face of our parts department—often the first point of contact for walk-in customers. You’ll oversee daily operations including inventory management, ordering, customer service, and team supervision (1–3 employees). Key Responsibilities Greet and assist walk-in and phone customers in a professional, friendly manner Provide parts and service quotes; support customer needs from inquiry to fulfillment Partner with the sales team on pricing, availability, and ordering Manage and maintain accurate inventory levels Order, receive, and track parts from purchase through delivery Notify customers and team members when orders arrive Stock, organize, and maintain clean, efficient parts storage and showroom displays Process sales transactions (cash, check, credit card) Coordinate annual physical inventory counts Handle parts warranty claims Pull and prepare parts for the shop and customer pickup Load parts for customers as needed Provide backup support for incoming calls when necessary Supervise and support a small team (1–3 employees) Qualifications Previous parts, inventory, or sales experience required High school diploma or equivalent Strong customer service and communication skills Highly organized with strong attention to detail Comfortable using computers, data entry systems, and Microsoft Office Ability to work both independently and as part of a team Positive attitude and strong work ethic Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, bend, and move throughout office, warehouse, shop, and yard environments in all seasons Ability to lift up to 75 lbsAbility to operate a forklift Schedule Full-time Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM We offer a competitive compensation package based on experience, including: Health, dental, and vision insurance Life and disability coverage 401(k) with company match Paid holidays and paid time off Dealers Truck Equipment Co., LLC. is an Equal Opportunity Employer. #J-18808-Ljbffr
