Permanent Hematology/Oncology Physician | Kinston, North Carolina
TinkBird Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Board Eligible or Board Certified, Fellowship-Trained Hematology/Oncology Physician for a permanent opportunity with a community-based cancer program in eastern North Carolina. Position details include:
Job Type: Permanent
Specialty: Hematology / Oncology
Setting: Outpatient and Inpatient
Start Date: ASAP
Opportunity to grow a community-based oncology practice
Schedule: Monday Friday
Shared call model
Practice Environment: Established team of 3 physicians and 3 advanced practice providers
Strong referral base
Mix of inpatient and outpatient responsibilities
Clinical duties include:
- Development of treatment plans for new patients
- Chemotherapy oversight
- Supervision of APPs for follow-up care
- Participation in tumor boards
- Inpatient rounding
Facility Highlights:
- Community cancer center with 12 infusion chairs
- 10 exam rooms
- Radiation oncology services on-site
- Experienced nursing staff and nurse navigators
- Multidisciplinary oncology support team
Requirements:
- Board Eligible or Board Certified Hematology/Oncology
- Fellowship trained required
- Active North Carolina license (or ability to obtain)
