Registered Nurse (RN) - CVICU

Nurse – Critical CareSchedule: 12H Rotating shifts, days/nights.Assignment Details: Contract length: 26 weeks. Guaranteed hours: 72 hours biweekly (does not include on-call time).Requirements:Minimum of 2-3 years of nursing experience, with at least 2 years in Critical Care or Cardiothoracic ICU.ACLS certification required.BLS certification required (American Heart Association).Experience with electronic medical records (EPIC) required.Level 1 trauma experience preferred.Responsibilities:Provide advanced care for patients recovering from complex heart, lung, and vascular surgeries.Monitor patients 24/7 and address severe cardiac and/or respiratory conditions.Work collaboratively with healthcare teams to ensure quality patient care.Administer medications and IV therapies as ordered.Document patient information accurately and in a timely manner.Compliance / Notes: Weekly orientation required. Must be separated from any previous employer for 6 months to be considered.
