Speech Language Pathologist, PRN |Corsicana, TX

This is a part time position with a paid per visit scale. $75 to Eval and $70 to treat as base scale can increase depending on years of experience in discipline and in home health.

Job Summary:

A registered professional speech therapist who provides therapeutic techniques forth rehabilitation of patients/clients with speech, language, hearing, oral motor, swallowing and cognitive disorders. Provides coordinated care to patients/clients of all age groups. Plans, implements and evaluates patients/clients care plans to restore or maintain patient/client well being. Participates in the coordination of care.

Job Qualifications: 

Education: Master's or Doctoral Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited college or university.

Licensure: Current State License in Speech-Language Pathology or if licensure does not apply, meets the requirements listed in 42 CFR 484.115(n), current Driver's License.

Experience: One year experience in an acute care or rehabilitation setting, or home health preferred. ASIS documentation experience preferred.

Skills: therapy skills as defined as generally accepted standard of practice. Good interpersonal skills. Proof of current CPR.

Transportation: Reliable transportation and valid and current auto liability insurance.
