As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol in Houston TX you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Transportation and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic transportation location where you will conduct routine patrols maintain a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents and support guests with outstanding customer service and this role you will work as part of a caring team that values agility reliability innovation and integrity while helping create a welcoming environment for everyone on site.

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors passengers and/or staff by carrying out assigned security-related procedures location-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents disturbances and/or critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner documenting observations and sharing relevant information with site contacts and/or first responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout terminals access points parking areas loading zones and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and/or security-related concerns.
• Monitor entry and exit activity check restricted areas for authorized access and report suspicious behavior unattended items and/or policy violations in accordance with site protocols.
• Support daily transportation operations by maintaining a visible presence assisting with directional questions and communicating clearly with supervisors and/or site personnel regarding incidents and operational concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
