Distribution Center Supervisor

Position Summary

This position is primarily responsible for supervising daily planning, organizing, and operations of the distribution center. Oversees distribution functions, including picking, packing and shipping of customers’ orders.

Shift/ Hours: Monday through Friday; 12:00PM - 8:30PM

Salary: $70,000 - $80,000

Essential Functions

• Supervises warehouse activities.
• Ensures associate compliance to protocols and standards.
• Ensures products for delivery are routed to the appropriate clients.
• Monitors and tracks the progress of deliveries.
• Supervises document preparations for transfer to other department/shipping.
• Maintains, if not surpasses, quality expectations and standards required from the department.
• Maintains a clean and safe working environment.
• Addresses customers queries.
• Assists in the recruitment, hiring, and terminating process as needed.
• Trains new associates to become a valuable part of the team.
• Reviews associate performances and provides feedback and suggestions for improvement.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Position Qualifications

• 8 years’ experience in pharmaceutical operations at the team lead or supervisor level.
• Management of pharmaceutical records and documentation.
• Dependability and willingness to accommodate work schedule.

• Knowledge of MS Office suite (Excel, Word, etc.),

Skills and Abilities

Education: Associate degree or previous work equivalent.

Experience: Eight(+) years of supervisory or similar leadership position in the pharmaceutical distribution environment.

Computer Skills: Must be proficient in Microsoft suite of products including Excel, Word, and Outlook,

Other Skills: Proactive thinking, strong communication skills, ability to work well under pressure, attention to detail, and possess strong time management skills.
