Sales Leader

Retail Sales Leader We are looking for a Retail Sales Leader to manage operations on the sales floor and in the stockroom, help train associates, and provide an outstanding in‑store experience for customers at our Mission Viejo location. Key Responsibilities Assist in developing and motivating associates to maximize sales potential Provide in‑the‑moment coaching/training to store associates to ensure efficient floor operations, customer service, coverage, stockroom management, and execution of standards Partner with Store Management to provide feedback on associate performance Assist in training associates on store operations, product, policy, and procedures Execute action plans that optimize results Execute all aspects of daily store operations Ensure appropriate associate coverage to create a great customer experience Oversee and authorize the checkout experience Assist with merchandise flow such as shipment, replenishment, omni‑channel operations in the store Monitor and analyze the customer service provided by team members Build an effective schedule with the right associate in the right place at the right time Promote and support an environment focused on delivering great in‑store customer experiences Effectively resolve customer service issues to a positive outcome Lead and model the customer experience model Display expert knowledge of product, company policies, promotions, and loyalty programs Provide leadership and assistance with product launches, window changes, visual presentation standards, signage placement, and related activities Other essential functions may occur as directed by your supervisor Required Experience & Qualifications Education: High School or Equivalent Years of Experience: 1 Proficient in use of technology (iPad, registers) Meets defined availability criteria, including nights, weekends, and non‑business hours Meets physical requirements Critical Skills & Attributes Previous retail experience preferred Ability to effectively communicate with customers, peers, and supervisors Demonstrated sales accountability Demonstrated collaborative skills and ability to work well with a team Ability to multitask and handle multiple customers and/or processes at once Benefits and Compensation Medical, pharmacy, dental, and vision coverage 401(k) and Roth 401(k) with company match Merchandise discount Paid Time Off Parental leave for new moms and dads Part‑time associates may receive paid sick leave, public health emergency leave, and be eligible for 401(k) and Roth 401(k) with company match Part‑time associates are also eligible to receive an Express merchandise discount, participate in a Learn & Earn incentive program, and choose voluntary benefits through YouDecide Pay Range: $19.20 - $26.25 per hour EEO Statement An equal opportunity employer, PHOENIX does not discriminate in recruiting, hiring, or any other terms and conditions of employment on the basis of any federal, state, or locally protected characteristic.
