Become the Dietitian You Aspire to Be
- Engage with and counsel patients based on physician directives and dietary guidelines.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals involved in patient care.
- Assess referral orders to evaluate the adequacy of nutritional intake methods.
- Document relevant information in patients' medical records in accordance with established protocols.
- Execute nutritional care plans, modify menus, and assist patients with specific dietary requirements.
- Conduct calorie assessments and provide suitable recommendations.
- Review, update, and approve menus for nutritional sufficiency.
Qualifications
- Registered with the Commission on Dietetic Registration of the American Dietetic Association.
- State licensure is mandatory.
- Membership in the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics is preferred.
- A Bachelor’s or advanced degree from an accredited institution in Food & Nutrition.
- Preferred experience of at least one year in Clinical Dietetics.
