Custom Filters Direct is seeking a dependable and mechanically inclined Maintenance Mechanic to support our growing manufacturing operation in Bloomsburg, PA.

This is a hands-on role focused on troubleshooting minor machinery issues, performing preventative maintenance, and helping keep production equipment running efficiently. We are open to candidates with general mechanical experience, including automotive repair, machine maintenance, fabrication, construction, or other hands-on mechanical backgrounds.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with tools, solving mechanical problems, and staying active in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Schedule

• Monday–Friday 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
• Overtime may be required based on business needs

Compensation & Benefits

• Starting pay @ $18.00/hour
• Weekly Pay on Fridays
• After 90 days - Medical, Dental & Vision Insurance, Paid Time Off (PTO) & 8 Paid Holidays

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair minor machinery and production equipment issues
• Perform preventative maintenance and routine equipment inspections
• Assist with maintaining production lines and keeping operations running smoothly
• Use hand tools and power tools to complete repairs and adjustments
• Identify mechanical issues before they lead to downtime
• Support general facility and equipment maintenance as needed
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Work closely with production teams to support daily operations

Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude and hands-on experience required
• Automotive, machinery, fabrication, maintenance, repair, or construction experience is a plus
• Comfortable using hand tools and power tools
• Ability to troubleshoot basic mechanical issues
• Strong work ethic and reliable attendance
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Manufacturing experience is helpful but not required
• Ability to read and write in English required

Work Environment / Physical Requirements

• Standing and moving throughout the facility during the shift
• Frequent bending, reaching, lifting, and working around equipment
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
