Seeking experienced  HVAC Technicians with a current Connecticut D2 or S2 license for a direct hire opportunity with our client in Waterford, CT.

This position offers full benefits including PTO, Medical, Dental, 401K, company vehicle, and gas card!

Pay: $40 - $55 hourly (based on experience)

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and service on commercial HVAC systems.
• Maintain all required trade licenses and certifications.
• Comply with Section 608 of the Clean Air Act and all applicable federal, state, and local occupational safety regulations.
• Attend required safety training.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
• Properly utilize required PPE when installing, maintaining, or servicing HVAC systems.
• Interact with customers in a professional and courteous manner.
• Maintain a clean, professional appearance while working at customer locations.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Be available to work overtime and weekends as business demands require.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Current Connecticut S2 or D2 license required.
• EPA 608 Universal certification required.
• Commercial HVAC systems experience required.
• Strong troubleshooting and mechanical skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to respond to service calls on short notice.
• Must maintain a clean driving record.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Physical Requirements
The position requires the ability to:

• Walk, stand, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl.
• Use hands and fingers to handle tools and equipment.
• Reach with hands and arms.
• Climb ladders and stairways.
• Talk, hear, and smell.
• Occasionally sit.
• Frequently lift and/or move items weighing 0–50 lbs.
• Occasionally lift and/or move items weighing 51–100 lbs.
• Seldom lift and/or move items weighing 101+ lbs.
