Job Summary:
Telemetry Nurse Prescott, AZ. This position involves providing nursing care in a telemetry unit, focusing on patients with cardiac or medical conditions such as CHF, COVID, respiratory issues, GI, diabetics, post-cath, and total joint replacements. The role requires interpreting telemetry strips, responding to patient needs, and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure quality patient care.

Job Details:

• Shift: Days, 12-hour shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: BLS and ACLS certifications, at least 2 years of nursing experience, licensure to submit, and the ability to interpret telemetry strips.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with reading basic telemetry strips, managing CVA and TIA patients, Cerner electronic health record system experience, and total joint replacement experience.
• Schedule: Shifts are 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, with schedules created for four-week blocks. Self-scheduling is used but pending manager approval.
• Additional Information: The position requires passing a dysrhythmia exam within two attempts before contract signing. The candidate may float to East Campus and potentially to PCU if qualified. Night shifts and weekend rotations are part of the schedule, with specific holiday coverage. One unit orientation shift will be provided.
