About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Oncology Chemo Certified Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: Minimum 2 years of Oncology-specific experience License: NC or Compact license required Certifications: BLS, ONS Chemo/Bio Card required; OCN preferred Must-Have: RNs must bring their own stethoscope. Central line experience required. Description: Cross posting for the position is allowed. Requests for time off after booking is not allowed and cannot be worked out on site. Any call-offs or additional time off may result in a cancellation and do not return. RNs must bring their own stethoscope. Skills required include administration of chemotherapy. RNs will care for adults over the age of 18 with hematology and medical oncology diagnoses. There are currently infusion chairs to accommodate social distancing. Ambulatory infusion pumps are used in this unit. RNs are expected to float between clinics located within a short distance. Pre-shift COVID screening is required. There are no weekend or call requirements for this position. Daily patient ratios are 1:5. RNs will complete hospital orientation during the first week. Scrubs are not provided; navy blue is the required color. RNs must be available for daily classes during the first week of training. Additional recruitment requirements include traveler experience. References can be pending at the time of submission. All necessary compliance and testing must be completed within 48 hours of signing. Candidates must be open to floating within or near the facility.
