Legal / Administrative Support

A respected professional organization in downtown Harrisburg is seeking a Part-Time Legal Administrative Assistant to support its legal and regional operations teams. This role is ideal for an experienced administrative professional who enjoys organized, detail-oriented work in a professional office environment.

This opportunity offers a consistent weekday schedule, parking provided, and the possibility of longer-term employment depending on organizational needs.

Schedule

Preferred schedule:

  • Monday–Friday, approximately 4 hours per day
  • Afternoon hours preferred, though morning schedules may be considered
  • Potential flexibility for 3 full days per week for the right candidate
Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to legal and professional staff
  • Draft and format correspondence, reports, legal documents, spreadsheets, and presentations
  • Maintain organized physical and electronic files
  • Track deadlines, schedules, hearings, and case-related documentation
  • Coordinate meetings, calendars, and project timelines
  • Handle confidential and sensitive information with professionalism and discretion
  • Communicate with internal staff, outside agencies, attorneys, and other parties as needed
  • Support office operations, recordkeeping, and document management processes
  • Assist with preparing and filing legal documentation and correspondence
Qualifications
  • Previous administrative assistant, executive assistant, legal assistant, or office support experience required
  • Prior legal administrative or law office experience strongly preferred
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines independently
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced professional office environment
  • Experience handling confidential information required
  • Notary certification is a plus, but not required
