Located in Portland, OR

We are seeking a responsible and efficient CDL A Driver for our client company in Portland. This is an Evaluation to Hire position with a steel distributor where you would use a flat bed truck to delivery the product to local customers. You must know how to drive a manual vehicle.

OVERVIEW : This is a full time, hourly position. Ideal candidates must be available for overtime as needed. They are seeking candidates who show a strong attention to detail and a commitment to excellence. There will not be much of loading or unloading the product from the vehicle.

DUTIES :

• Ensure punctual and safe transportation from the warehouse to the plant distribution points according to the delivery schedule they were given.
• Support on the warehouse floor between delivery windows.
• Participate in miscellaneous operational duties as required.
• Present the company in a professional and friendly manner when completing deliveries.

PAY: $30.00+/HR DOE

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:

• Must currently have a CDL A
• Valid DOT medical card
• Comply with company safety regulations at all times.
• Must be licensed and insurable for this driving role.
• Must have manual and automatic experience.
