About the Role

The Company is seeking a Vice President of North America Sales to lead and drive commercial efforts in the region. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing strategic sales plans, achieving aggressive sales targets, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement within the sales organization. This executive leadership role requires a proven track record in medical device sales, particularly within the surgical ophthalmology market, and experience in managing large commercial teams. Key responsibilities include strategic leadership, team development, sales operations, customer relationship management, and maintaining product and market expertise. Applicants for the VP of North America Sales position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field, with an MBA preferred. A minimum of 15 years of progressive sales leadership experience in the medical device industry, with a focus on surgical ophthalmology, is required. The role demands exceptional leadership, coaching, and team-building skills, as well as the ability to analyze market trends, and competitor activities, and identify new opportunities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in surgical consumables and single-use products in the U.S. market, and be adept at establishing and maintaining strong customer relationships. Extensive travel throughout North America is also a necessary aspect of the role.
