Sr. Systems AnalystDuration: 6 month C2H (Must be willing to convert to FTE) Location: Remote No Sponsorship AvailableNeed to have strong health insurance domain experience, SQL, and IT Systems AnalysisSummary: The Senior Analyst – Systems Analysis position is responsible for analyzing and evaluating business requirements for a set of systems that provide customer service to millions of health insurance recipients. The position will collaborate with personnel from various departments and identify areas for the development of technical solutions to automate and/or improve business processes. The position works independently with limited supervision and may coach or mentor others when designing mission-critical systems. The position must exhibit effective communication and technical skills to support stakeholders and project clients. This is an excellent opportunity to work with large-scale enterprise systems that demand an elevated level of performance and scalability.Responsibilities:Collaborates with business partners, clients, external vendors and Agile team members to build dynamic solutions that will improve the experience of customers.Participates and contributes to all Agile solution development and delivery events. Assists in defining user stories and success criteria.Performs data analysis and documents process flow, data paths and integration points.Applies design and system thinking in delivering systems that are fully optimized from an end user's perspective.Clarifies system functionalities and demonstrates working systems to business sponsors to solicit feedback and achieve alignment.Acts as owner for end-to-end system configurations such as user access permissions, security controls and compliance.Identifies and manages system performance metrics, presents key findings to management team and Agile Inspect and Adapt sessions as improvement opportunities.Preferred Skills:Proficient knowledge and practical use of relational databases, data modelling concepts and SQL.Proficient skill in defining software specifications and detailing acceptance criteria in user stories.Excellent planning, organizational and time management skillsExperience with process modeling tools such as Lucid Charts and VisioExperience with integration analysis tools such as Postman or Postman equivalentsWorking knowledge of managed file transfer tools such as MoveIT and Axway.Familiarity with Continuous Integration/Continuous DeliveryWorking experience with Jira, Service Now and SharePointEducation and Experience: Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems or related degree program and minimum 8 years of related work experience. Preferred Certifications: Amazon Web Services (AWS) certifications such as AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner or other relevant industry standard certifications aligned to the role of a Senior Analyst are considered a plus.
