Registered Nurse - Psychiatric Specialty

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) with a specialty in psychiatric care. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a dynamic psychiatric healthcare setting, focusing on individuals dealing with chemical dependency, dual diagnosis, and various psychiatric conditions.

This is a 13-week contract position.

Days 7A - 7P, rotating weekends.

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) with a specialty in psychiatric care. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a dynamic psychiatric healthcare setting, focusing on individuals dealing with chemical dependency, dual diagnosis, and various psychiatric conditions.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct patient assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Administer medications and provide interventions based on patient needs.
• Monitor patient progress and communicate effectively with families.
• Collaborate with external review organizations regarding patient care.
• Engage in crisis prevention and intervention when necessary.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Current unencumbered RN license from the state board of nursing.
• CPR certification and Crisis Prevention Training (CPI) within 30 days of employment.
• Availability to work flexible hours and potential overtime.
• Previous experience in a psychiatric healthcare facility preferred.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
