Quality Control Supervisor
We are seeking an experienced Quality Control Supervisor to oversee inspection operations within a manufacturing environment. The role involves supervising and scheduling departmental workload, ensuring timely processing of inspection activities, and maintaining high-quality standards across in-process and final inspections.

The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical inspection experience, a solid machining/manufacturing background, and expertise in interpreting blueprints, GD&T, and applying quality standards. This position requires hands-on involvement with inspection equipment and the ability to ensure dimensional accuracy and compliance with specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and schedule inspection department activities based on workload
Perform in-process and final inspections using precision measuring equipment
Interpret blueprints and design sketches to ensure dimensional accuracy
Ensure adherence to quality standards and inspection procedures
Support continuous improvement in inspection and metrology processes

Requirements:

5+ years of experience in Metrology/Inspection field
Strong mechanical inspection and machining background
Proficiency in GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing)
Understanding of SPC (Statistical Process Control)
Experience with inspection tools and equipment; CMM experience preferred
Computer proficiency (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
High School Diploma or equivalent
Familiarity with AS9100 or ISO 9000 standards preferred
Prior supervisory or team lead experience is a plus
