Join S2I2 as an Information Technology Subject Matter Expert (IT SME) specializing in Enterprise Storage Management (ESM). Be at the forefront of designing and securing mission-critical storage and backup solutions for the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA), working with leading-edge technologies in a dynamic, collaborative environment.

We are seeking an accomplished IT SME to deliver expert leadership and technical direction for DLA's enterprise storage and data protection platforms, ensuring availability, resilience, and compliance across all environments.

Clearance: Active Secret with IT-I (Tier 5) eligibility

Work Schedule: On-site, Monday through Friday.

Position Overview:

Serve as the senior technical lead for DLA's enterprise storage and data protection platforms (NetApp, Pure, Brocade, Cohesity, NetBackup, Azure, AWS). Set architecture direction, lead engineering teams, ensure STIG and IAVA compliance, and regularly brief DLA leadership. Oversee SAN, NAS, object storage, backup, and disaster recovery operations across five DLA sites and multi-cloud environments (Azure, AWS, OCI) on both NIPRNet and SIPRNet networks.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

IAT Level II baseline certification (e.g., Security+ CE, CySA+, GSEC, SSCP, CCNA Security, GICSP, or CND)

At least one of: AWS Solutions Architect Professional, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Dell DCA-ISM, NetApp NCDA, NetApp Hybrid Cloud Admin/Architect/Implementation Engineer, NetApp CIE SAN, Cohesity DataProtect, or NetBackup certification

Minimum two (2) years in an advisory or managerial role supporting DoD/DoW or Federal enterprise infrastructure

Minimum five (5) years of hands-on experience with enterprise SAN (FC zoning, iSCSI, FCoE, HBA/CNA, LUN, RAID, NAS)

Minimum five (5) years of hands-on experience with enterprise backup and restore solutions

Minimum five (5) years working with DoD or DoW IT systems

Desired Qualifications:

NetApp and Pure array design and administration

Brocade fabric management

Cohesity and NetBackup platforms

Cloud storage (AWS S3/Glacier, Azure Blob, OCI)

Ransomware protection and data immutability best practices

Automation using PowerShell, Python, or Bash

Windows and RHEL storage administration

Oracle and SQL backup and restore procedures
