We are all employee-owners at HDR, which is the foundation of our collaborative culture that connects employees around the world.In the role of Rail Engineer, we'll count on you to: Serve in a technical role, under the direction of a Project ManagerOversee the work of EITs and Junior Project EngineersPrepare detailed engineering designs for rail projectsTake responsibility for project involvement, ranging from site feasibility analysis to final design and through the construction phasePerform other duties as neededPreferred Qualifications A minimum of 3 years' experience in transportation design - transit projectsPreference given to candidates currently residing in the Greater Boston Area#LI-JC7QualificationsRequired Qualifications Bachelor's degreeRequires professional engineering license recognized by the licensing board for the location of the position offered. Example: Professional Engineer (PE or P.Eng) license.Hands-on experience with Microstation, OpenRail Designer, AutoCAD and Civil3DMust be able to work both independently and in a team setting MS Office software experience Excellent oral and written communication and project management skills An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must What We BelieveHDR is our company.
