This acute care hospital provides surgical services to an adult patient population within an established OR-based care environment. The facility operates with clinical infrastructure and protocols designed to support coordinated cardiothoracic surgery coverage. On-site resources are in place to facilitate quality care delivery throughout each assigned coverage period.

The Physician Associate will provide cardiothoracic surgery coverage in an operating room setting, assisting surgeons during surgical cases. Weekday OR hours run from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM, and weekend call consists of rounding in addition to serving as first call. Call coverage is a required component of this on-site assignment. All clinical documentation must be maintained through the EPIC EMR system.
