Overview:

Territory Management

• Travel throughout Amarillo and the surrounding regional territory, including West Texas, Eastern New Mexico, Oklahoma, and Kansas
• Visit industrial plants, factories, agricultural operations, and other commercial customer locations
• Manage and grow an assigned sales territory through regular customer visits and follow-up

Technical & Consultative Sales

• Promote and sell industrial and mechanical components, including:
  • Bearings
  • Belts
  • Chains
  • Conveyor systems
  • Electric motors
  • Drives
  • Gearing and related components
• Identify customer needs and recommend the right products and solutions
• Develop a strong understanding of customer operations and equipment

Customer Support

• Respond to customer parts inquiries and urgent equipment breakdown needs
• Provide dependable support to customers operating 24/7 industrial facilities
• Be available for occasional after-hours or on-call customer support as needed

Account Growth & Relationship Building

• Prospect and develop new commercial and industrial accounts
• Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing customers
• Build trusted partnerships with plant managers, maintenance teams, builders, and other key decision-makers
• Identify opportunities to increase sales and expand existing accounts

Skills and Experience:

Previous outside sales experience experienced

Industrial, mechanical, manufacturing, agricultural, or technical sales experience is a plus

Strong communication and relationship-building skills

Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage a sales territory

Comfortable traveling regularly throughout the assigned region

Strong problem-solving and customer service skills

Valid driver's license and ability to safely operate a company vehicle

Ability to learn and understand industrial products and mechanical components
