Junior Analyst, Information Security

Position Summary: We are seeking a motivated Junior Information Security Analyst to support day-to-day cybersecurity operations and security-related initiatives across the organization. This role is ideal for candidates looking to gain hands-on experience in a collaborative environment while developing foundational cybersecurity skills.About The Clearing House: The Clearing House (TCH) is a banking association and payments company that is owned by the largest commercial banks in the United States. TCH owns and operates the core payments system infrastructure in the US and is currently working to modernize that infrastructure by launching a new, ubiquitous, real-time payment system. TCH is the only private-sector ACH and wire operator in the US, clearing and settling nearly $2 trillion in US dollar payments each day, representing half of all commercial ACH and wire volume. TCH has provided critical services to the banking industry since 1853, and today, our core products facilitate services including Direct Deposit of payroll, bill payments, and check image exchange.Qualifications Required:Bachelor's degree (or currently pursuing) in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field0–2 years of experience in cybersecurity, information technology, or related internshipsBasic understanding of cybersecurity concepts and best practicesStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent attention to detail and organizational abilitiesEffective written and verbal communication skillsWillingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environmentQualifications desired:Familiarity with cybersecurity tools, technologies, or industry frameworksBasic understanding of networking, operating systems, and cloud technologiesExposure to scripting or automation tools is a plusRelevant certifications (or working toward certification) such as Security+, Network+, or similarEssential Functions and Responsibilities:Support cybersecurity programs, processes, and operational activitiesAssist with the identification, analysis, and resolution of security-related issuesHelp maintain security documentation, procedures, and reportsParticipate in security assessments, reviews, and improvement initiativesAssist with monitoring, investigation, and response activities as neededSupport compliance, risk management, and security governance effortsCollaborate with technology teams to promote security best practicesContribute to security awareness, training, and communication initiativesPerform other cybersecurity-related duties as assignedPhysical demands and work environment: Work is generally sedentary in nature. The working environment is generally favorable. Lighting and temperature are adequate, and there are no hazardous or unpleasant conditions caused by noise, dust, etc. Work is generally performed within an office environment, with standard office equipment available.Employees in this position will report to the office 3 days per week.Occasional travel may be required.
