Field Service Mechanic

Full-Time Field MechanicMorrison Industrial Equipment is looking for a Full-Time Field Mechanic at our Grand Rapids location, located at 1825 Monroe NW, Grand Rapids, MI 49505. If you have wrenching experience and strong mechanical knowledge, either on vehicles or any other equipment – this position is for you!Compensation rate is based on experience level, ranging from $20-30hour.Monday through Friday, first shift hours, working 40 hours a week with opportunities for overtime.This position would require a valid, good-standing driver's license. Morrison Industrial Equipment has a strict drug-free policy and any position with the company would require a pre-employment drug screen, as well as a physical exam, and a background check.Our Service Technicians Qualifications are:Have a Strong Mechanical Aptitude and Abilities orHave 2+ Years Mechanical Repair and Maintenance Experience andHave Excellent Communication Skills andEnjoy Independent WorkCan Utilize Technology such as a Laptop or TabletHave a Valid Driver's License - 3+ years runningMeet Minimum Tool Requirement or qualify for our tools-for-techs programAbility to lift 50-75 pounds due to Lift and Move FunctionsA Field Service Technician travels locally to customers, using a company van, to complete needed repairs on a wide variety of products with an emphasis on forklifts.Essential Functions:Diagnose and Repair Equipment BreakdownsCommunicate any Needed RepairsComplete Work Orders in a Timely MannerCoordinate with Parts and Service Department DailyKeep Work Van Clean and Stocked with SuppliesInteracts with Customers in a Professional MannerComply with all Safety Procedures within FOM's GuidelinesConsistently and Reliably attend Shift Ready to WorkPerform any Other Duties as AssignedOur Field Service Technicians Enjoy These Benefits:We offer health, dental, vision, FSA options, life, and disability insurance available on the first day of employment.
