Registered Nurse - Operating Room, Binghamton General Hospital

Position Overview UHS Binghamton General Hospital is seeking a skilled and motivated Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dedicated Surgical Services team. In this essential role you will provide safe, compassionate, and efficient perioperative care, supporting exceptional patient outcomes across the surgical continuum. The Operating Room RN is responsible for protecting, promoting, and optimizing patient health throughout the perioperative experience, with a focus on patient advocacy, clinical excellence, and adherence to nursing standards. Schedule and Compensation Schedule: Part‑time, 24 hours per week Shift: Day rotation (multiple shifts available) Compensation Range: $40.70 – $61.05 per hour, depending on experience. Sign‑On Bonus Eligible: Up to $15,000. You will be eligible for benefits if hired into a regular position with at least 24 scheduled weekly hours. Education & Experience Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (minimum) Preferred: Bachelor of Science in Nursing Previous clinical nursing experience in an acute care or ambulatory setting Licensure & Certifications Current New York State Registered Nurse license (minimum) Preferred: CCRN Relevant skills certifications (e.g., ACLS, PALS, TNCC) as required by the assigned unit Benefits Medical, dental, and vision coverage beginning the first of the month after hire for employees working 24 or more hours per week.
