As a Security Officer Alarm and Badge Systems in Garner, NC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Security Officer at a dynamic technology location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and respond to security-related needs with integrity. Pay Rate: $18.36 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site-specific procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout technology-focused facilities, including business areas, entry points, and perimeter locations.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, supporting authorized entry procedures and documenting security-related observations.
• Maintain accurate activity and incident reports while communicating professionally with site personnel, visitors, and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• X-ray screening experience is preferred.
• Comfortable use of a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
