At McGregor PACE, we are looking for a compassionate STNA or CNA who is interested in expanding their career beyond direct care and into healthcare operations. This unique hybrid role combines hands-on participant support in our day center with administrative responsibilities assisting our home care scheduling team.

Position Summary

The Participant Care Assistant/Home Care Scheduling Coordinator provides direct care to participants while supporting the coordination of in-home services such as personal care, homemaking, and companion visits. This role offers valuable exposure to scheduling, communication, and care coordination within the PACE model.

Key ResponsibilitiesParticipant Care Assistant Duties

• Assist participants with personal care, mobility, and toileting
• Support meal service and participant engagement
• Observe and report changes in condition
• Promote participant comfort, dignity, and independence

Scheduling Support Duties

• Assist with scheduling home care aides and services
• Communicate with staff, participants, and caregivers regarding schedule changes
• Enter and update scheduling information in electronic systems
• Support the Home Care Scheduling team with administrative tasks

Qualifications

• STNA or CNA required
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Proficiency with computers and Microsoft Office
• Interest in healthcare administration and scheduling
• Ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environment
• Experience in home care, senior services, or scheduling is a plus
