Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to support the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of CNC machining equipment in a manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for performing preventive maintenance, minimizing equipment downtime, and ensuring CNC machines operate safely and efficiently. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience maintaining CNC mills, lathes, and related equipment, along with strong mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic troubleshooting skills. Key Responsibilities Perform preventive maintenance (PM) on CNC machines, including mills, lathes, and related equipment Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems Diagnose and repair issues involving CNC controls such as Fanuc, Siemens, Haas, or similar systems Respond quickly to machine breakdowns to minimize production downtime Maintain accurate maintenance records, work orders, and repair documentation Collaborate with production and engineering teams to improve equipment reliability and performance Install, test, and commission new equipment and machine upgrades Read and interpret electrical schematics, manuals, and technical documentation Utilize diagnostic tools, meters, and calibration equipment to identify and resolve equipment issues Ensure all work is performed in accordance with company safety policies and applicable regulations Qualifications High school diploma or GED required; technical degree or certification preferred 3+ years of industrial or CNC maintenance experience Strong understanding of CNC machine controls and manufacturing equipment Experience troubleshooting electrical systems, including reading electrical schematics Strong mechanical aptitude with experience in precision alignment and machine repair Experience troubleshooting pneumatic and hydraulic systems PLC troubleshooting experience is a plus Proficiency using diagnostic equipment, electrical meters, and calibration tools Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, and critical thinking skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment Preferred Qualifications Experience maintaining CNC mills, lathes, and automated manufacturing equipment Familiarity with Fanuc, Siemens, Haas, or similar CNC control systems Technical certification in industrial maintenance, mechatronics, electrical technology, or a related field Experience supporting continuous improvement and preventive maintenance initiatives This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Maintenance Technician looking to join a stable manufacturing team where technical expertise and proactive problem-solving are highly valued.
