We are a 6 year running Top Workplace in the Greater St. Louis area. -Business Unit: Land SystemLocation: West Plains, MOTelework Type: No TeleworkRelocation Available: Relocation Benefit AvailableType: Full-TimeSchedule: 4/10 (Monday - Thursday)Shift: 1st Shift (6:00am-4:30pm)Job SummaryJob ResponsibilitiesResponsible for supervising a team of engineers on an activity and completion of activity on time and budgetAbility to supervise a technical group independently Manage budget, cost and schedule input for design assignmentsDrive the program design to cost and design for manufacture requirementsCommunicate clearly (written and oral) with other company personnel and the customer as requiredParticipate in preparation of proposalsPerform design reviewsSupervise and direct the work of others as assignedSupport, communicate, reinforce and defend the mission, values and culture of the organizationAttend appropriate engineering, customer or business meetingsManage/supervise a team of engineersOther duties as assignedManage a team that oversees the development and implementation of manufacturing processes to maintain proper product functionality as well as cost efficiency. Ensure the engineering team and other manufacturing departments work together cohesively. Responsible for the development of equipment to aid in the manufacturing process. Review, evaluate and implement engineering changes and specification requirements. Provide input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments. Develop manufacturing process plans, test requirements, manufacturing flow, and capacity plans. Review detail designs for manufacturability and producibility.
