Cook with Healthcare Exp - Flex Shift (Westland, MI) Our cooks prepare amazing and nourishing meals for guests, ensuring the highest quality standards and best culinary experience. They work closely with the Executive Chef to create and review menus, prepare food, and ensure meals are prepared in accordance with portion control procedures, sanitary regulations, and established policies. We offer starting wages of $18.00 per hour plus $0.85 per hour Hero Pay, yearly wage increases, and best‑in‑class benefits including tuition reimbursement, medical, dental & vision, PTO, holiday pay, disability & life insurance, 401(k) with employer match, and referral bonuses. Schedule: 8‑hour shifts with rotating weekends and holidays. Part‑time Flex Shift rotates days and afternoon shifts: 5:00 AM‑1:30 PM, 11:30 AM‑8:00 PM, 10:30 AM‑7:00 PM. No late nights. Responsibilities Prepare meals following all necessary guidelines and regulations. Coordinate food production to coincide with meal serving times, ensuring excellence in quality, temperature, and appearance. Assist with tray line setup and plate assembly. Assist with daily cleaning requirements in the kitchen. Promote hospitality and excellent customer service in daily interactions with guests, families, and visitors. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. ServSafe certification. Basic computer skills. At least 2 years of related food experience, preferably in a supervisory capacity in a hospital, nursing care facility, or related medical facility. Excellent customer service skills with a commitment to delivering passionate, innovative care. Team player, dedicated to supporting team members and getting the job done.
