Senior Endoscopy Technician

Seeking a Senior Endoscopy Technician for a quick start at an outpatient Endoscopy Center in sunny Southern California. Travelers at this facility often return and build lasting relationships with the staff. Seeking a tech with 3+ years of experience who can work collaboratively with physicians, and nursing staff. Start date: ASAP Schedule: Mon-Fri, 0700-1530 (no weekends or holidays; no on call) Years of experience required: 3 years (experienced Endoscopy Technicians who are either SGNA Certified or CST. Candidates should have at least 3 years of experience working in an endoscopy center or GI Lab.) Certifications required: SGNA or CST (Surgical Tech) Program Completion Preferred. BLS required. Is on-call required? No Floating to sister facilities: No Locals accepted: Yes! RTO Restrictions: Please include all RTO at the time of submittal. Guaranteed hours: Facility may call off traveler up to 1 shift per pay period (every 2 weeks).

Additional Information: This position is at a stand alone endoscopy center. Tech will perform upper endoscopies, colonoscopies, polypectomy; biopsy, peg placement, banding, balloon dilation, Bravo; X-track; Tech should be accustomed to high level disinfection of procedural equipment. EPIC experience preferred, ProVation experience preferred. Colonoscopes, EGD scopes, EBUS, EUS, enteroscopes, ERCP scopes, fiber optics, flex sigmoidoscopes experience required. Back table set up & room set experience preferred.
