Director of Financial Planning and Analysis

Esquire Law Services is growing, and we are looking for a strategic finance leader who can see the story behind the numbers - and turn it into action. As Director of FP&A, you will lead planning, forecasting, performance reporting and strategic analysis across a complex, multi-entity organization. This is a high-visibility role with direct access to the CEO and Board of Directors. You will help leaders make faster, better-informed decisions about growth, cash, capital, operations and acquisitions. What You Will Own: Enterprise planning. Lead the annual budget, rolling forecasts and long-range planning across entities, offices, departments and practice areas. Decision-ready models. Build integrated, driver-based models that connect case volume, intake conversion, staffing, marketing, settlement timing and fees to revenue, EBITDA and cash flow. Executive insight. Deliver concise monthly and quarterly reporting that explains performance, highlights risk and points leaders toward action. KPIs and accountability. Create dashboards and scorecards that make financial and operating performance clear, consistent and measurable. Strategic finance. Evaluate growth investments, market expansion, technology, facilities, financing and capital-allocation decisions. M&A support. Partner on diligence, valuation, transaction modeling, financing, integration planning and post-close performance measurement. Financial discipline. Improve data integrity, forecasting accuracy, model governance, controls, automation and planning systems. Team leadership. Build a high-performing FP&A function and serve as a trusted, constructive partner to leaders across the business. Your Impact: Trusted forecasts. Clear Board narratives. What You Bring: 8+ years of progressive FP&A, strategic finance, corporate finance or transaction-related experience, including ownership of enterprise planning and executive reporting. Expert-level financial modeling skills, including integrated statements, driver-based forecasts, cash-flow analysis, scenarios, valuations and transaction models. Strong understanding of profitability, working capital, liquidity, leverage, capital allocation and the operating drivers behind financial results. The executive presence to communicate complex issues clearly, challenge assumptions constructively and influence decisions. Experience supporting M&A, financial diligence, financing analysis or other significant strategic transactions. Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP/accounting systems, planning tools and business-intelligence platforms. Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, business or a related field. Strongly Preferred: MBA, CPA, CFA or a comparable credential; experience in a private equity-backed, acquisitive or investor-reporting environment; and exposure to legal services, professional services, healthcare or another multi-site, people-intensive business. This role is based in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, with an on-site/hybrid leadership model. Occasional travel and availability for critical budgeting, Board, financing and transaction deadlines may be required. Ready to Make an Impact?
