Job Opportunity – Emergency Department Registered Nurse – Georgia

Start Date: September 14, 2026

Location: Georgia

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 12-hour shifts with 4:1 patient ratio on days, nights, and weekends. Every other weekend required. No call required. Contract length varies; 12 hours orientation provided.

Highlights:

• Level 3 Trauma Center (in process) with Primary Stroke Center designation and accreditations for CHF, STEMI, and Chest Pain
• 59-bed Emergency Department with daily census of approximately 250 patient visits across all age groups from neonates to geriatrics
• Advanced equipment including Arctic Sun therapy system and glucommander technology
• Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including Rapid Response Teams, Pharmacy, Respiratory Services, Physical Therapy, and more
• Float within facility and scope of practice as needed; first-time travelers accepted with minimum 2 years experience
• Maximum 7 days requested time off allowed per contract; all time off must be finalized at submission

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department nursing experience
• Current Georgia or Compact State RN license required at time of submission
• Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, ENPC (or willingness to obtain), TNCC (or willingness to obtain), CPI (or willingness to obtain)
• Skills required: Care of ventilated patients, continuous IV sedation, interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, procedural sedation administration/monitoring, and triage experience
• Telemetry competency exam required
• Full compliance documentation required prior to start date; all core items and labs must be completed within 48 hours of contract signing
