Start Date: September | Full-Time Position | Ongoing Opportunity
- Full-time locum tenens coverage commencing in September
- Shifts: 10 hours from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday
- Weekday on-call hours: 5:00 PM to 7:00 AM
- Weekend on-call hours: 7:00 AM to 7:00 AM
- Willingness to work at both St. Petersburg General and Pasadena Hospital is essential
- Flexible scheduling is necessary based on the daily surgical workload
- Involves a combination of managing personal cases and providing medical direction
- MD to CRNA ratio: 1:3-1:4 at St. Petersburg | 1:5 at Pasadena
- Daily case volume ranges from 5 to 20
Types of Cases
- General Surgery
- Orthopedics
- Upper and Lower Extremity Regional Blocks
- OB Spinals and Epidurals
- TAP Blocks
- Endoscopy
- Standard community anesthesia cases
Qualifications
- Board Certified in Anesthesiology
- 1-2+ years of experience required (5-10 years preferred)
- Comfortable supervising CRNAs and managing personal cases
- Willingness to cover both facilities is a must
