Job Title: MS Tele Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Medical-Surgical/Telemetry Duration: 26 weeks or 13 weeks Shift: Day and Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 1 year experience required License: Active Registered Nurse license required Certifications: BLS required Must-Have: Must have a vehicle for this assignment Description: OCT start for Medical-Surgical Telemetry Registered Nurse. This position will float between units based on unit needs. On-call duty is not required. Weekends are required, every other weekend. Block schedules are not required. Expected patient ratios are 1:4-5. The clinician will be responsible for interpreting and managing telemetry as a hard stop requirement. EPIC charting experience is a hard stop requirement. Must comply with floating policies as travelers may be expected to float to other units and facilities. Incentives offered for floating to specific locations. This facility is a critical access and level III trauma center. A scrub color is flexible; any color is acceptable, with scrubs provided for certain units. The facility provides interdisciplinary support from various specialties and services. Travelers must request all time off and specific scheduling requests upfront during submission. Inflexibility or refusal to float may lead to contract termination. Providers will be responsible for their own communication devices if not provided by the facility. Candidates should not reach out to facility contacts directly unless for an agreed-upon interview. Time spent on mandatory modules is self-reported and recorded.
