R&D Technician I

As a R&D Technician I here at Honeywell, you will work closely with engineering teams to help bring new products and solutions from concept to reality, playing a key role in Honeywell’s commitment to innovation and excellence. You will report directly to our R&D Supervisor and you’ll work out of our McCook, IL location on an on‑site work schedule. This is a 12 hour shift, rotating two weeks on day shift and two weeks on night shift. In this role, you will impact the development of cutting‑edge technologies that address complex challenges and enhance Honeywell’s product portfolio, helping to maintain our competitive edge in the industry. Responsibilities Operate, monitor, and take readings on group of pilot plants. Collect samples for the labs to analyze Be responsible for your work area to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the area Make use of the Honeywell Operating System to continuously make improvements. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED Equivalent Ability to work rotating 12‑hour shifts (days/nights) which includes some weekends and holidays Ability to lift up to 35lbs
