Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | 36 Hours per Week Guaranteed | 13-Week Assignment | Projected Start: June 2026

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in an 8-bed ICU/CCU unit with a patient ratio of 1:2–3
• Monitor and manage high-acuity patients including those presenting with respiratory failure and other critical diagnoses
• Utilize Cerner EHR for accurate and timely documentation of patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes
• Participate in weekend coverage on an every-other-weekend basis and respond to call requirements as needed
• Float within the unit as required, maintaining safe care standards at a ratio of up to 1:6
• Adhere to facility dress code; scrubs in traveler's color of choice, no casual wear

Required Qualifications

• Active RN licensure meeting all education, licensure, and certification requirements to practice in North Carolina
• Minimum 1–2 years of ICU experience
• Current ACLS certification
• Current BLS certification
• Current CPI / HWC / MAB certification
• Current NIH Stroke Scale certification

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with high-acuity critical care patient populations
• Familiarity with Cerner EHR platform
• Experience caring for patients across all age groups in an acute care setting
