Physical Therapist (PT)

The Physical Therapist provides direct rehabilitation care to patients based on physician referrals, ensuring compliance with all laws, regulations, and standards. Qualifications Include Graduation from an accredited physical therapy program (BSPT, MSPT, or DPT for 2003 or later graduates) Current state licensure in good standing Preferred one year of experience; new grads are welcome CPR certification, obtained upon hire or during orientation, maintained current throughout employment Key Responsibilities Follow established treatment plans and modify goals as needed Evaluate and oversee care provided by PTAs, Rehab Aides, and students Accurately chart patient progress and utilize therapy software effectively Collaborate with patients, families, and support staff to meet patient needs Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and adherence to policies and procedures Participate in community health initiatives when appropriate Provide excellent customer service and demonstrate dependable attendance Communicate effectively within an interdisciplinary team Perform physical tasks such as lifting and moving patients, and maintain safety standards Skills And Qualities Include Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and email communication Good body mechanics and judgment skills Ability to make independent decisions when necessary Strong interpersonal and professional conduct Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English An Equal Opportunity Employer. #J-18808-Ljbffr Personal Touch Home Health Care Services Inc.
