UM Upper Chesapeake Health (UMUCH), a member of the University of Maryland Medical System (UMMS), has a full-time employed position available for a Primary Care Nurse Practitioner to join their practice located in Forest Hill, MD.

Nurse Practitioner Job Specifics:

• This position will be responsible for coordinating and providing medical care, health screening, and education to Harford Primary Care's adult patients.
• Excellent opportunity to join a successful and established group performing traditional outpatient duties
• Physician and APP friendly, collaborative work environment
• Monday through Friday work schedule, no weekends, no holidays. Work life balance supported by very manageable shared call rotation.
• Ideal candidate will have prior experience in primary care setting.

Work Experience:

• Education & Training: Current Maryland Nurse Practitioner license as an adult, geriatric, or family nurse practitioner.
• Work Orientation & Experience: Satisfactory completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program, Practitioner-physician written agreement approved by the Maryland Board of Nursing.
• Skills & Abilities: Competent in providing comprehensive physical assessments and establishing medical diagnosis for common short-term or chronic stable health problems. Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment. Possesses excellent communication and negotiation skills.
