About the Role
The Company is seeking a Division Vice President of Operations to direct and lead its construction programs in line with organizational policy and strategy. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, identifying and implementing process improvements, and ensuring construction scheduling, quality control, and budgeting are in compliance with company and local policies. This role also involves managing vertical construction operations and at least one other major department, setting and achieving company benchmarks, and cultivating a work environment that prioritizes the health and safety of employees and trade partners. Candidates for this position should have a Bachelor's degree (preferred) and 5-10 years' experience in the homebuilding industry, including management experience. A background in construction, purchasing, estimating, and customer service within the homebuilding sector is required. The role demands strong leadership, management, and communication skills, as well as the ability to make independent decisions and perform under high-stress conditions. The Division Vice President of Operations will be expected to lead with humility and confidence, foster a culture of accountability, and ensure the division's organizational structure supports current and future operations.
